The cotton crop for this season
is superior in nearly all of its
qualities to that of lasl Reason.
As near as wo can ascertain from
numerous inquiries from the
largest cotton buyers for the New
Kngland mills, the crop, in clean
linens, is 1 per cent, better than
last year, in length of stapled per
cent.better, and in spinning qualities,
10 per cent, bettor, while
the average grade is about the
same.
It seems now pretty conclusive
