LANCASTER ENTERPRISE Published \ery Wednesday -hY? Tb? - tcterprise r'ublishiog Company A. J. CLARK, Editor. JULY, ..... 14, 185)7. Judge Simonton has continued the injunction in the I'inkusshon "original" packages case which prohibits constables from interfering with liquors being sold in original packages under the re candidates. i For the Enterprise. The Famous Cut aw ha Falls? Their Heuuty, Grandeur and Magnificent Power. On the evening of the 2nd inst. we set out to visit a young friend some ten miles down the river in Chester county. So crossing over at Cureton's Ferry we wended our way right down the river almost) until we reached the Landsford and Kock Hill public road. Then going southward some five or six miles we reached our young friend's home and after resting an<l sharing his hospitality for the night we awoke at 4 o'clock the next morning teeling much refreshed. Soon we were called to a sumptous breakfast prepared by our young friend's charming sister. Soon after we set out for the Falls behind a spanking team furnished by our young friend. We soon reached the pretty little hamlet of Fort Lawn surrounded by large and fertile fields of both corn and cotton in a fine state of cultivation. Passing on a few miles we crossed Fishing creek at what is known as the Dock Harber bridge. From the creek we ascended a j gentle slono for something like a i mile reaching the Columbia road just above Beckhamvillc. This is a beautiful, level road that runs almost parallel with the river un til within three or four miles of the Falls when it deflects to the left almost running into the river just opposite the Falls. We reached our destination about It) o'clock and found the banks of the Falls completely lined with the happy picnicers every few minutes added by new arrivals and by 1 1 o'clock the number had swelled to six or eight hundred people. The picnic was gotten up in honor of Children s Day for hast Chester Circuit of which Rev. K. A. Young is pastor. We found him there giving his personal at attention to the enjoyment of his iloek and their guests. J'en can hardly describe the beauty and grandeur ot these falls. The scenery is the grandest we have ever seen. The large, rugged hills striction of the dispensary law. He did not define "original packages." Mr. Irby and some of the other candidates for the Senate apg. making loud complains against the newspapers , J'o'r not, printing < full reports gf their speeches, j They evidently more inter- ] ested^j their speeches than any i y else. The plan adopted by i t/r~J\\\p. dailies of abbreviating the i reports of these speeches is, we thiMK, a most admirable one. ami doubtless meets the approval of i their leaders, if it does not of the Nervous l'eoplo often-wonder why their nerves nro bo weak; why they get tired ho easily; why they start at every alight but Budden Bound; why they do not Bleep naturally; why they have frequent headaehes, indigestion and Palpitation of tho Hoart. The explanation is simple. It is found in that impuro blood which is continually feeding tho nerves upon refuse Instead of the elements of strength and vigor. In such condition opiate and nerve compounds simply deaden and do not cure. Hood's Sarsaparilla feeds the nerves pure, rich, red blood; gives natural sleep, perfect digestion, selfcontrol, vigorous hc>alth, and is the true remedy for all nervous troubles.
