Mr. M. C. Brunson, the popular

Courier is spending a few days

Sparks’ show r was a success.
They had a great crowd. Some of
the children w ho had been so de
lighted with the ponies, the mon
keys, the baby elephants, and
“Cyclone” the wonderful mule,
did not wish to leave at all. Mr.
Sparks gives the best show for the
price that travels, he keeps such
order as to make it a safe and en
tertaining place to go. He does
all he says he will and more. At
least the children say that he does
and the children know\ The train
ing of the goats, dogs and monk
eys was wonderful. It was the
same with the baby elephants,
lions and monkeys, who were fat
and sleek, and saucy because they
know- soimieh. The shows are
worth tne money and more, be
cause they afford innocent fun
for the children, which will make
them happy for a month.—Nor
folk, (Va.) Oct. 1, 1901. (Nor
folk, Va., Times.)
