enormous sum, were borrowed for
several sequences.
The female members of the com
pany also wore costly jewels in the
way of necklaced, rings and brooches.
At the banquet scene is a riot of bril
liant colors and sparkling gems. It
becomes a veritable fairy land under
the attractive lighting display used
in this set.
The story of “The Man From Down
ing Street” is a combination of a
thrilling detective story, a political in
trigue and an intense love affair. The
ending comes as a surprise.
