The tree which was a very large one was a mass of brilliant light- nd interesting look ing packages, and was a delight to the crowd- of children. The large and roomy armory was crowded by young people and there were a number of older people also who thoroughly en joyed the hippiness of the children. The receipts amounted to about $50 but how much of this is clear t be ladies are not -yet able to say, as the expenses have not been summed up. 1t is expected, however, thaL a large part of this amount will be clear gain, as the expenses are not thought to be heavy. 40 A.
