Corn, millet, sugar cane, watermelon seed and garden seed of all kind. -A lot of writing desks, matting and other desirable goods inst received at J. 0. Boag's. -While north Mr. Lauderdale suc ceeded in securing a'number of stock holders, and the cotton mill will now increase the machinery almost double. Wilson Hanahan has or ganized a number of young ladies and gentlemen into a dramatic club. They are now rehearsing for a play that will be presexted some time !n May. No doubt this is pleasant news to a great number of pleasure-seeking peo ple. -The Winnsboro Dry Goods Com pany are among our new advertisers this morning. Steadman, of Colum bia, and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson, of Aiken, are on a visit to tbe home of Prof. Witherow. Mrs. Caldwell and Mrs. Bell, of Alabama, who have been visiting in Chester, are being entertained by Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Flenniken. Mrs. J. Q. Davis. and Mise Annie returned from Columbia on Tuesday. Mr. Sam Trapp, of the "old mule" fame, has moved to Winnsboro. We sincerely hope that he and his valuable animal will not give the Sheriff cause to stop a train again. Mr. Eugene Price spent Thursday in Columbia. Mr. J. ' A. Bookhardt is suffering very much from a severe cold. Rev. E. C.
