We would like to say a word to) ihe

the election of our county dispenieer.
It is the proud boast of the Reformers
that we have all of odur officers, from
Senator down, Defore the primary.
Yet we see three men select a very
itmportant officer who by all means
should be eiected by the people. We
claim equal rights to all arnd special
privileges to none. So we fail to
understaind why it is that this office
should be filled other that by the voice
of the primary and, so far as we can
see, the board of control should be
chosen tte same way, then there
would be no ground for complaint
a; to log rolling, &c. This i. the notion
