WOODWARP, April 16 -Mr. Lunce awis, who is farming on Rev.. R. D. 'erry's place, a mile from here, had b he misfortune last night to have his a twelling house, stables, and two ti iules destroyed by fire. Mr. Lewis ad fed his mules about dark and he, vith a negro boy who was ploughing rith him, started to the postoffice to ail a letter. When within a few L undred yards of the postoffice they el oticed the glare of flames behind hem, and Mr. Lewis believing that it vas his house on fire, he and the negro urried back, and upon reaching there hey found the house, stables and his wo mules completely destroyed. here is scarcely a dorbt but that the p urning was the work of anincendiary f end, as Mr. Lewis says that when he ud the negre left for the postoffica ere was not a spark of . fire on the lace, and the tracks of a person was iscovered going to and returning rom the house, those returning rather idicating that the person was run ing.
