Pursuant to a call, a meeting of the
Mount Zion Society was held in the
Town Hall on Thursday, the 31st ult,,
at tWn o'clock. The school trustees of
the district made a report in substanco

drawn, and that in con$pguenco it
would be impossible after the present
scholastic year to pay the principal of
of M?ug,'.ion more than sixty dollars
per mnoith. Heretofore he has begn
receiving eighty dollars per month.
The secretary was Instructed to coin

Mount Zion Society. A resolution
was passed instructing the building

scription and to take steps at the ear
liest day possible to have new build
ings erected and improvements made
