A Cump. FOR DiP-iTITHIiA.-Put a tea
spoonful of flour of brimstono in a wine
glass full of water and stir with the fin
ger instead of a spoon, as the sulphur
does not amalgamato with waiter.
When the sulphur is well mixed give it
as a gargle, and in two minutes the pa
tient is out of danger. Brimstone kills
every species of fungus in man, beast
or pilant in a few minutes. Instead of
spitting out the gargle, swallowing is
bettor. III extreme cases when the fun
gus is too nearly closed to allow garg
ling, blow the knlphur through a quill
into the throat, and after the fungus
hos shrunk follow with the gargling. If
the patient cannot gargle take a live
coal, put it oi a shovel, and sprinkle a
spoonful of brimstone upon it and lot
the stlloror inhado it by holding his
hea dover it.
