Fire in Winnsboro.
Shortly after midnight, Satui-day,'
some of the citizens of Winnusboro
were roused by loud cries of fire, andl
shorijlv after the harsh alarum ofj
the fire, bell brought all the rest out ii
the street. There could be no uncer
tainty ar to thec whereabouts of the
fire,.for fromn the high elevation in
the uppeCr of the town, on which Mr.
G. II. McMaster's residence was situ
ated a glare as bright as noonday
illumined everything for miles around,
so that houses as far off~ as Mr. .James
MIcCullys-seven or eight miles
