were very little varied fRom the use

a few additional songs, suited to the
occasion, gave more interest. Imme
diately after their close, a procession
was formed, which marched to the es

in Capt. K.'s wood-lot near a delight

spread of the inviting repast, Capt. K.
started the little boys in a play which
amused anid entertained all. In fact
he was host for the day, contributing
especill to the pleasure of tle young.
AlI did full justice to the many good
things prepared tljr the occasion. In
the afternoon, the company divided
into squads-the little ones to the
Acadamy for plays, the older ones to

greater part, and the most interesting
to me, assembled at Capt. K.'s, where,
in lively conversation and games, $he.
time passed off rapidly. Altogether,
the day was much enjoyed. Thanks to
