KELLY AGAIN WINS.
Tho Leader of Tammany Comes Out Ahead
of Two Opponents.
Naw YoRK, April 19.-The annual
election for the Sachem of Tammany
Society, held last night at tle Wigwam,
proved the most exciting held inl many
years. The Kcll- faction at the outset
had been contident of success, and the
otier party, headed by Judge McAdam
werie just as confident that victory
would be theirs. Three tickets were
in the fiold. The election resulted in
the success of the Kelly ticket, which
was elected by a majority of 50. Tihe
total number of votes cast was 711.

second instalment thereof: Provided fur
ther, That if any person whosoever shall
fail or refuse to 1-ay his or her taxco duo

shall be charged with a lienalty of five
per centum ott the first instalnont, which
penaltg shall be added."
The Treasurer is authorized to receive
in payment of the above taxes only gold
and silver coin, United States currency.
National Bank notes and Coupons, which
shall becomo payable during tho year
'881 on the valid 'onsolidated Bonds of
this Statoe, known as "Brown Bonds."
Jury tickets and the per diem of State
witnesses in the Circuit Court will be re
ceived for County Taxes, not including
School Taxcs.
