COUTY BIBLE SoclaTr.-According to
previous notice, there was a jneeting
of the different congregations of thIs
town hold I.n the Presbyterian church
at 4 o'clock p. in. on last Sabbath in
the interest of the Bible cause. it ap
pearing that the Auxiliary Bib'le So
clety of Fairfield county had flallen into
a state of suspension, the object of the
meeting was to survive and reorganize
it. The Rev. C. II. Wiley, District
Superintendant of the Americai Bible
Society fo:- North and South Carolina,
being present, delivered an address,
after which a collection was taken up.
