The young girl, Emnma Peters and Kate LOWey , die&ithin twenty-four hours. C"olone Date and his wife are very low, and their death Is momentarily expected.- The cause of the tragcdy was the use of arsenic instead of salt in seasoning the chickens. Colonel Dale purchased, a qutmntity of arsenic a day or two before to kill crows, alid carelessly left it in the kitchen. A blundering servant mistook it f6r salt, and hence the fatal results. Only those who partook of the chicken were poisoied. A DOUBLE CoLLIsIoN.-Early Mon. day morning the passenger train on" the Geotgla Central Railroad broke fu half a mile from Macon.
