Judge Mackey on Monday night.
The county canvassers are swinging
around. the. circle. Beginning at
Blapkstock 1n a J91nt torch-light pro
ce5sion of.the two counties, they have
visited all the northern, western and
southern portion of the county, stir
ring up the Democracy with words of
eloquence and wisdom. They spoke
yesterday at Bear Creek and Ridge
way, and will to-day close the canvass
at Gladden's Grove.

thusiasm during the past week. On
Monday night addresses were made to
the Club by Messrs, Jno. S. Reynolds
and R. Means Davis. On Wednesday
night Messrs. J. G. McCants, H-. N.
Obear, R. M. Huey, Jas. A. Brice, F.
Gerig, Jos. Groeschel, J. M. Elliott,
Sr., addressed a large and enthusiastic
crowd in the court-house. Friday
evening Mr. A. S. Douglass and Capt.
I. N. Withers made telling speeches.
Monday night Judge T. J. Mackey
will close the campaign - in behalf of
the Democratic party. There must be
a full turn out.
