"This old lady, widely known in
Towvnship Numher Elght as -the ward
of the neighborhood, died on. Thurs
day night in Ridgoway, after a weary
illness of many mon~ths, in the eighty
fifth year of her age. During the last
two weeks of her life she constantly
prayed to be at rest, and at last begged
for an anodyine that would end her
life of suffering-thereby making a
few change their opInions as to the
practice of cut hanasia."
