which will be appreciated. .It is to be

tions, or at least to and from the coun
try towns along the route. Rt is also
intimated that a local frelght may soon1
be put on tihe road, which will accom
modate travel. Thlis change is im
peratively needed, as tihe freight
reached Winneboro at 5 a. m. on Sat
urday, and not until 8 a. m. on Sun
day. A lady with a sick infant was In
the cars thirteen hours between ChIar
lotte and Winnsboro, most of the time
being spent waiting at tho, depot in
Char'lotte for four or lyve .carloads of
freight from the Rich'm~ond god $)an
Ville Road. It is much t6 I7e hoped
for: all parties. that tho authorities of
the road will 'soon begin a spirit of ac
conmodation to their customers and
