in 1866 anid in 1873. At the time of
his deatl lie was in the firly-sixth year
of his age. Dr. Powell was a brother
of Mr. A. E. Powell, of this county,
anid leaves a m1hileir of relatives and
acquaintanees here. To these we
tender our hearty sympathy in their
