FIRE AT RIDGEWAY.-.,.Qn last
Thursday night the residence occu
pied by lr.. Ale.. A. Walker, to
gether with the kitchen and well
holtsq, was destroyed by firo. The
fire occurred at two o'clock in the
morning, and the first alarm was
given by Mrs. Walker, who awoke
feeling the cinders fauling upon her
face. She at once aroused Mr.
Walker, and he succeeded in saving
some articles of furniture, his im
pression is that the fre was of an
incendiary origin. The property
belonged to tho estate of Jos. T,,al..
hon. There was no insurance.
