THE CIncUIT COURT.--Sinco ou
last report, the following busines
has been transacted :
State vs. Gabe Chisoln, Urial
Chisolm and Gaines Jordan, indicte<
for burglary and larceny. Th<
jury in this case came into court
after an absence of about five hours
and the foreman anrounced tha
there was no possibility of ai
agrceement. The jury was thei
discharged, and a mistrial ordered

third, Gaines Jordan, there coul<
be none. He had freely confosso<

imprisonment for thirty days eaci
in the county jail.
Rose Boulware, convicted of re
ceiving stolen goods-imprisonmen
for thirty days in the county jail.
Lige Robertson, convicted o
burglary-five years, at hard labor
in the penitentiary.
Reuben Sims, convicted of arson
ten years, at hard labor, in the peni
tentiary.
Charles Whitu, convicted of grani
lareeny--four years, at hard labor, ii
the penitentiary.
Washington Davis, coivietel o
grand larceny--one year, at hiart
labor, in the penitentiary.
Daniel Allen, convicted of bur

The Court of General Sessions
was then formally adjourned, and
