The reputation it has attained, in
consequence of the marvellous cures it
has produced during the last half cen
tury, is a sullicient wAsurance to the
public that it will continue to realize
the happiest results that can he desired.
In almost every section of country
there are persons, publicly known, who
have been restored from alarming and
even desperate diseases of the lungs,
by its use. All who have tried it ac
knowledge its superlority; and where
its virtues are known, no one hesitates
as to what medicine to employ to re
lihve the distress and suiffering peculiar
to pulmonary affections. Cnsmeny PEc
TORAL always alfords instant relief, and
performs rapid cures of the milder va

the more formidable diseases of the
lungs.
As a safeguard to children, amid
the distressing diseases which beset
the Throat and Chest of Childhood, it
is invaluable; for, by its timely use,
multitudes are rescued and restored to
health.
This medicine gains friends at
every trial, as the cures it Is constantly
producing are too remarkable to be
forgotten. No faily should be with

it never will.
Eminent Physicians throughout the
country prescribe it, and Clergymeu
often recommend it from 'their knowl

TOTAL ABSTINENCE SAINlG WINE TILL IT
RIPRNS,
There is a eurious story about some native
wines which are extensively advertised nowa
days, and have only recentl been put upon
the market. Dr. Underhili the well-known
gape-grower of Croton Point, died in z87r.
'ome of his heirs entertained temperance
'views of such extreme kind, that they were
unwilling to allow the stock of wvines then on
hand to be sold or any more to be made.
The grapes have sometimes been sent to
market, and sometimes left to decay upon
the vines. It is only now that the other heirs
have succeeded in arranging for a settlement
of the estate and the sale of the wines on
hand. A mong these is a wino of the yhmai.ge
of 1864, described as a "Sweet Union Port,"
but suggesting the Imperial Tokay more
than any other European wine, and being
wholly unlike any 8ther wine of American
growt'h. Its purity, age and mellowness are
remarkable, and both physicians and wvine
fanciers have a special interest in it as the
oldest native wine now aeeessible in any con
siderable quantity. The whole stockis in the
hands of the well-known wholesale grocery
house of the Thurber.-N Y.Triung,
Nov. 19, 1877.
The above speaks for itself, but we would
add that this is the pure juice of the grape,
neither druged, /iguored nor watered: that it
has been rped and mellowed by age, and
for medicinal or sacramental purposes it is
unsurpassed. It ean be obtained from most
of the leading Druggists throughout the
United States, and at wholesale from the
undersigned, who will forward descriptive
pamphlet, free of charge, on application.
Respectfully, etc.,
