The Histrionic Club propose giv
ing a dramatic entertaiunent during
court week this mouth. The play
will be carefully selected, and the
performance will be second to none
yet given. Refreshments, suited to
the season, wvill also be served dur
ing tile entertainment. The pro
coeds will be devoted to Mount
Zion Institute. Further particulars
will be given_later.

those of all other newspapers, are

long since,due. We trust our calls
will be met promptly. The sum
asked of each subscriber is very
-small, while the aggregate is, to us,
a very considerable item. We have
refrained from anything like dun
ning, and we hiopo each subscriber
will pay promptly wvhen called upon
to-day. _______

change of schedule on the day trains
on the 0.0C. & A. B. B. The pres
sent "accommodation" train wvill
be discontinued, and the Company
ayill run a regular passenger and a
a rogular~ freight train in the day-.
time. This will be a very great imb
provemnent, and we trust the change
will be made at once. The present
plan of carrying passengers on
freight trains is a bad one in many
ways, being attended. with number
less annoyances to traveloirs. Those
ainnoyances must of course increase
ams the heavy winter btmsiness in
freights sets in. We are glad,
therefore, tg know that it is pur
posed to have a regular passenger
train for those who wish to travel in
