There are four claimants of the
discovery of anaesthesia-Long,
Wells, Morton and Jackson. Wells

Morton died of congestion of the

Long is old, poor and burdened

with the 1+h''r complaint, and during that

VEGETI NE.
T s'.l'louands will lear testimony (and do
it voluntarily) that Vegetine N the best
medical comapound yet placed beforo the I
public for renovating and purifying the
blood, eradicating all humors, im :-ties
or poisonous secretions fromt the system,
invigorating and strengthening the
system debilitated by disease; in fact, it
is, as many have called it, "The Great
Health Restorer."
SAFE AND SURE,
Mn. H. 1t. STEvENS :
In 1872 your Vogetine was recomimend
ed to me, and yielding to the persi~asions
of a friend, I consented to try it. At rhe
time, I was suffering from general debili
ty and nervous prostrations, superin
duced by overwork and irregular habits.
Its wonderful strengthening. and ourative
properties seemed to affect my debilitated
system from the first dose, and under its
persistent use I rapidly recovered, gain
ing more than usual health and good
feeling. Since then I have not hesitated I
to give Vegetine imy most unqualified in
dorsement as being a safe, sure and pow
erful agent in promoting health and res
toring the wasted system to new life and
energy. Vegetine is the only medicine I
use, and as long as I livo I never expect
to find a lbetter.
Yours truly, WV. HL. CLARK,

By whlat I saw andm heard I gained some1
confidenlce inl Vegotirne.
I comuimenced taking it so'on after, but
felt, worse from its effects; still I per

ini other respects. Yet I did noi see the
results I desired, till I had taken it faith

During the past few weeks I have a
