I don’t think I ever saw as many people a r one place as was at Shelby Saturday. In the morning they had some uood speak ing iti the court house, also had two brass bands. Gaffney has one of the best ama teur base ball teams in the South and it is composed of our home boys, who have been playing for their own pleasure as well as that of the Gaff ney people. They have furnished amusement for Gaffney and are doing a great deal to advertise the tow’n | and they deserve recognition.
