Miss Hazel Shannon.
Charming costumes are those worn
j by little Hazel Shannon In “The
Banker’s Child.” The following is a
; description of the costumes worn
i during her specialty:
Little Miss Hazel reminds one of a
French doll in a lovely trained gown
of pink satin brocade, elaborately
trimmed with chiffon flouncing and
pink tea roses. The gown closely re
sembles Grace Van Studdlford’s cele
brated train of orchids. Miss Ha
zel’s second gown is a dainty toilette
of green satin and lace studded with
Jewels.
These many beautiful costumers be
sides the many worn by the other
ladies in the company will prove a
liberal education in the art of dress,
and will be a treat to the many ladles
as well as the wise men attending
the performance of “The Banker’s
Child,” who appreciate the beautiful.
At the Star Theatre, one night
only, Tuesday, March 17th.

Harry Shannon’s powerful comedy
drama, ‘"The Banker’s Child,” will be
presented at the Star Theatre for one
night only. The story of the play is
capltlvating. with a plot of intense
Interest, rising at the end of each

The comedy is bright and sparkling:
the action terse, vivid and rapid. It

Skayfe Bramlett and his friend,
Sherwood Rogers, were out hunting
Tuesday afternoon at Limestone. |
They both sat down. Skayfe had a
gun, holding the barrel to his face. 1
He started to get up and some wire |
had become tangled up in the trigger j
and the gun was discharged. A por-;

half of the cartridge and he thinks
the other half is behind his eye. We
all wish for Skayfe a speedy re
