Bank growth depends upon deposits, and they in turn, are the result of the wise and conservative management which begets the confidence and good will of the people. We are proud of the way this institution is increasing in strength and influence, and grateful to the depositors and cus tomers who have contributed to its up-building. The same pol icy which has made this bank popular in the past will be adhered to in the future and every accommodation which is consistent with perfect safety will be granted to our friends. There have been scores of comedies of different types produced in the last few years, most If not all found ed on the lines of mistaken Identity but in this line of comedy work there are In all probability no comedians who have at their disposal a better field than the Lyman Twin Brothers who will be seen here Saturday nlgni In their latest musical farce “The Yankee Drummers.” It is hard to comprehend the true meaning of “mistaken identity” both from a funny as well as a serious standpoint until you see it portrayed by two persons like the Lyman twins, who look exactly alike, and are taken for one another at every turn. For In stance, if one was married and one single and th j wife of the married one was to meet the single one, run up and kiss him, tell him about the new suit she just purchased and ask him for two dollars to buy shoes for the baby, the poor man would be dumb founded. That is real mistaken Identity. the board of directors. The Ledger welcomes the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Wlorks of Gaffney.
