who has been at the bedside of his
son. Mr. W. M. Webster, returned to

of Mr. W. M. Webster is encouraging
and his recovery is almost assured.

spending a few days in Gaffney with
relatives.

Edwip Corry, of the South Carolina
University, is in the city for a few
days visiting relatives and friends.

yesterday.
Mrs. R. A. Ware, who has been
very ill with pneumonia, is improving
and is now convalescent.

and D. M. Smith, of P; uline, and Mrs.
J. J. Kendrick, of Skull Shoals, visit
ed the family of Hon. W. D. Kirby
this week.

burg Tueaday night to see the “Mayor
of Tokyo.’’ They expressed them
selves as tnuch pleased with the per
formance.
Death of Mrs. Hollman.
Mrs. A. L Hollman died on the 13th
in st., at the home of her brother, Rer.
A. J. Bonner, near Cowpens, after an
illness of several months, and was
burled at Piedmont church. Mrs.
Hollman wag a daughter of the Rev.
Bryant Bonner, and sister to G. W.
and B. F. Bonner, Mrs. N. C. Snead
and Dr. T. B. Bonner, of Lavonia. Ga.
She was a member of the First Bap
tist church of this city at the time of
her death.

fects of Miss Elliott Snead, deceased.
These are therefore to cite and ad
monish all and singular the kindred
and creditors of the said Miss Elliott
Snead, deceased, that they be and
appear before me, in the Court of
Probate, to be held at Cherokee
Court House, Gaffney, S. C., on Fri
day, March 6th, next after publication
thereof, at eleven o’clock in the fore
noon, to show cause, if any they have,
why the said Administration should
not he granted.
