Cree paased through Gaffney Saturday on his way to Washington. The doctor, in a inter view with a newspaper man, said that his visit to Washington has no political significance whatever. M. C. Lipscomb spent Friday in the city. Clyde Cooksey made his “usual business" trip to Gaffney Sunday. 8. L. Miller, one of the most wide ly known insurance men in the State, was in Gaffney Friday. Waite Hamrick is home for the holidays from Wake Forest College. Wkite will take his degree next year. C. L. Tate called on The ledger Friday. J. L. Plaxico, of King’s Creek, was in the city Monday.
