We have been having some very
cold weather recently and a very cold
rain yesterday. We had a bit Ot

, Mrs. Sallie Ingram and little
daughter. Jessie,of Sunnyside, spent
Saturday night and Sunday with
friends in our section.
Messrs. W. G. and Ezekiel Web

Mrs. I. C. Tate, who has been very
ill all summer, Is Improving, we are
glad to report.
Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Carter are re
joicing over the arrival of a bouncing
baby boy.
Messrs. E. L. and D. W. Tate and
Miss Virginia Tate were Gaffney visit-
ora last Wednesday.
The farmers In our section are
about through picking cotton. Most
of them are having it ginned but none
are selling yet.

Mr. Ben Jamieson has purchased
a very fine cow from Mr. W. R. Wab
ker, of the Wilkinsville section. The
cow gives five and a half gallons of
