grime from paint instantly, without
wear or injury to the finest enamel,
while bath tubs of porcelain, zinc,
or those with painted finish, are
cleared as readily with whiting as

sene will not freeze it Is the finest
thing for cleaning windows In cold
weather? Apply with soft paper or
old cloths, and polish with newspa
per made soft by rubbing. Be sure

The late Gov. Parsons, of Alabama
was one of those few Southerners
! who espoused the Union cause dur
ing the civil war. After the estab
lishment of peace he was rewarded
for his fidelity by b'Mng made provis

legislature, and, to the Indignation of
