Matheson, the new pas tor of Limestone Presbyterian church filled his pulpit both morning and evening last Sunday. Good congre- itations were tn'atej to two powerful sermons. At the evening service Rev. P. B. Harper, of Buford Street Methodist church, arose at the con clusion of the sermon, and in a few well chosen words, welcomed the new pastor to Gaffney. Mr. Harper’s words were filled with wisdom and brotherly feeling. Mr. Matheson was very much affected by the remarks of Mr. Harper.
