company is composed of a clever set
of ladies and gentlemen and the per

shows that have been here this sea
son.
The Tyler Sisters.
These sisters occupy a unique
plaxv. on the conce-' stage. They
arc twins and have made a special
study of violin duets since the early
iige of eight years. Their entire
time, aside from that required for
public school, has been devoted to
ihis matchless instrument. After ac
quiring a proficiency that would
satisfy the majority of musicians,
they began study under the noted
virtuoso. So] Marcosson, of Cleve
land. Mr. Marcosson was not long
in discovering rare talent in these
sisters and received
a. s pupils, but took
owp family. Here

three years.
These clever sisters are with the
Alpine Entertainers, who will be at
th Star Theatre on Tuesday. March

the Star Course attractions and will

Death of An Aqed Citizen.
Cherokee county lost one of its
oldest citizens when Mr. Singleton
Clary died last Friday. Mr. Clary
was eighty-three years of age. He
lived all his life in the Wilkinsville
neighborhood, where he died. Mr.
Clary was a Confederal* soldier and
served his country well. He was
also a member of the Baptist church,
was a good citizen and had the
respect of all who knew him. De
ceased leaves an aged wife to mourn
Ills loss, and the sympathy of the
community goes out to her in her
affliction.

Death of a Good Negr 0 .
Henry Bonner, a highly respected
and industrious colored man. died at
his home near Draytonville Moun
tain Wednesday and was buried yes
terday. Bonner was a thrifty man
and had accumulated considerable
property. He bore a splendid repu
tation and was well thought of by
