FREE DOLLS Realizing that The Ledger has a great many friends among tha little girls of Cherokee County, we have determined to make 'them a special inducement to work for The Ledger from now until December 22nd. We have purchased several hundred Doils, embracing two different sizes, and are going to give a Doll to every little girl who will bring or send us one subscriber to The Ledger between now and December 22nd. A yearly subscriber will entitle her to one of the larger size, and a six months subscrintion wil'en itle her to one of the smaller size. The Dolls are now in our office and a sample can be seen in our window. You do not have to wait. All you have to do is to bring in the subscription and get the Doll. Two subsbribers will entitle you to two Dolls, three subscribers, three Dolls, etc. As a special inducement we are going to give to the little girl who brings in the largest number the large Doll shown in our window. How To Get Subscribers Go to see your neighbor who does not take The Ledger and get him to subscribe for six months or a year. Get your father or mother to give you the name and address of some relative or friend who once lived in this section and write them and ask them to subscribe. We send the paper to any address in the United States at the same price. Don’t Wait You must not wait until the Dolls are all gone. Go to work at once. In case the supply gives out and we fail to get more, we will pay you a commission on the subscribers you send in. In this way everybody will be paid for their work. This offer is not restricted. Any little girl can get one of these Dolls by doing a little work. / The Dolls The large Dolls close and open their eyes and have movable hands and feet. The small ones cannot close their eyes but have movable hands and feet. All have natural hair and all are dressed. We have told you everything which we can think of that is import ant. If you don’t understand come in to see us and we will tell you anything you want to know about these Dolls and the way to get one or more of them.
