MANY PHYSICIANS PRESCRIBE
Lydia Cm Plnkham's
Vegetable Compound
i
The wonderful power of Lydia E.
Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound over
the diseases of womankind is not be
cause it is a stimulant, not because it
is a palliative, but simply because it is
the most wonderful tonic and recou-
structor ever discovered to act directly
upon the generative organs, positively
curing-disease and restoring- health and
vigor.
Marvelous cures are reported from
all parts of the country by women who
have been cured, trained nurses who
have witnessed cures aud physicians
who have recognized the virtue of
Lydia E. Pinkhai j s Vegetable Com
pound, and are fair enough to give
credit where it is due.
If physicians dared to be frank and
open,hundreds of them would acknowl
edge that they constantly prescribe
Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Com-
ppund in severe cases of female ills, as
they know by experience it can be re
lied upon to effect a cure. The follow
ing letter proves it.
Dr. S.'C. Brigham, of 4 Brigham
Park, Fitchburg, Mass., writes:
“It gives mo great pleasure to sa^ that I
have found Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable
Compound very efficacious, and often pre
scribe it in my practice for female difficulties.
“ My oiliest daughter found it very benefi
cial fora female trouble some time ago.andmy
youngest daughter is now taking it for a fe
male weakness, and is surely gaining in health
and strength.
“ I freely advocate it as a most reliable s|)o-
cific in all diseases to whii-h women are sub
ject, and give it honest endorsement.”
Women who are troubled with pain
ful or irregular periods, bloating (or
flatulency), weakness of organs, dis
placements, inflammation or ulceration,
can be restored to perfect health and
strength by taking Lydia E. Pinkham’s
Vegetable Compound. If advice is
needed write to Mrs. Pinkham. at
Lynn, Mass. She is daughter-in-law
of Lydia E. Pinkham and for twenty-
five years has been advising sick
women free of charge. No other living
person has bad the benefit of a
wider experience in treating female
ills. She has guided thousands to
health. Every suffering woman should
ask for and follow her advice if she
wants to he strong aud well.

Everything at the outset points to
one of tiie most successful reunions in
the history oj' the organization.
The hall in which tiie reunion is to
be held is as beautiful as a structure
of bare boards could be made. Every
roof pillar was covered from top to
bottom wiwth white and red bunting
wound in alternate bands and bet ween
first the confed

then the stars and bars again, the
spaces being hilled in this manner
from end to end of the hall. The ro il

white tissue, caught up at regular in
tervals by small confederate Hags.
Portraits of tiie leaders of the Con
