Safe Blown Open and Money Taken.
Jackson. Miss., Feb. 14.—The postof-
flee at Clinton, 12 miles west of Jack-
son has been robbed. The safe was
blown open, pieces of It going through
the walls and badly damaging an ad
joining drug store. The robbers se
cured $1,000 in money, $300 in stamps
and $1,700 in Jewelry. Postofflce in
spectors are now working on tbe case,
but no clew to the robbers has turned
up.

wounded at a negro gathering at Low
town church. The negro killed was
