Lackey, alias James H. Harper, a ne
gro, was arrested and lodged in the
county jail here Tuesday on the charge
cf forgery, which offense he is alleged
to have committed in this city Monday
afternoon.
Having a check in his possession for
5800.30, drawn on a bank at Conyers,
with the name of L. J. Alirmnd signed
to it, and made payable to James H.
i Harper, whom he represented himeelf
