Last Friday he was at his! post at Wilkins A: Co.’s in good spir it- and. apparently, in better health I than usual; hut Friday night he be-j came ill. and gradually grew worse till the end came Wednesday. The remains were placed on the northbound vestibule yesterday after noon to be taken to the former home of the deceased in Now York for in terment. They were accompanied by Mrs. Farrell and little daughter, who will remain in the north. Mr. Farrell was about thirty-five years of age. He was a successful business man. and very pleasant, in his ad,Ireks, and had made many friem's during his short stay in Gaff ney.
