The farmers of Cherokee should j
hear in mind the farmers’ institute
which is to lie held in Gaffney on the
19th inst., and everyone who possibly |
can should attend the meeting.
Over two hundred bales of cotton j
were sold on this market Wednesday j
and yesterday. The price paid was
about 10%. The big rise in the I
price will no doubt bring in much
more of it during the next few days, j
Mr. M. C. Lipscomb is having his
building on Limestone street, now oc- j
copied by the Gaffney Hardware Com
pany, extended about thirty feet in
the rear. The extension will also be j
