FACULTY RECITAL.
The Limestone College Faculty Reci
tal in the Opera House.
This was given Monday night and
was a rare treat to those who alien 1-
ed. A good sized audience had as
sembled hut many more ought to have
been present and would have been,
but for the inclemency of the weather.
A line programme was rendered in
a faultless manner, and certainly no
college in the South can boast of a
better music faculty than 'can Lime
stone College.
Below we append the programme.
The Conover grand piano sent from
Charleston is to be used by Mr. and
Mrs. Scherubel in their Southern tour.
Its fine volume and sweetness were
splendidly brought out by Mr. Scheru
bel and Misses Steedly and Dew.
