At The Star Theatre.
The Crescent Comedy Co. present
ing a repertoire of high class plays
will open a week’s engagement at the
Star Theatre Monday night, February
27th, of which the Rome, Ga., Tri
bune says: “Rome has been visited
by quite a number of dramatic organ
izations, but none has met with the suc
cess or given the satisfaction the
Crescent Comedy Co. has done. The
company is a good one and is putting
on the best line of plays ever seen
here at popular prices. They have
secured a capable cast of actors and
actresses, each one of which is an ar
tist in his or her line of business. The
parts were all well dressed and show
careful judgment. The company
gave a continuous performance in
troducing specialties between the
acts, which were all good, in fact
each act could be called a feature act.
All their plays were presented in a
manner that w r ould do credit to a
company charging a higher price of
admission. They were bright, brisk
and highly entertaining from start to
finish and pleased immensely.”
Ladies free when accompanied by
gentlemen with paid admission.
Prices, 15, 25 and 35c.
Falling in love is often a serious
accident.
