Burgess were married on Wednesday,
December 28th, at the home of the
biide’s father. Mr. James Burgess,
near Cherokee. Rev. A. D. Davidson
performed the ceremony in the pres
ence of a large gathering of relatives
and friends.

Mrs. North Martin, of London, near I

years. She took a pain in her head
and bread bed her last in about fifteen
minutes. Her remains were buried at
Canaan church Monday, at 11 o’clock.
She leaves a husband and seven chil
dren, who have the sympathy of the |
