$2.50 SHOES
Bear in mind that next week, October 24th to 29th, is the DETERMIN ATION SALE at The Dixie. Never before have you seen goods
going as cheap as they will then go. Our three large stores have compelled us to buy heavily .this season, and we bought too much. We
are bound to unload; the goods must go. We need the money, so the goods are marked at “get money” prices, and we are going to get the
cash if you need ^he goods. January is the usual month for sales to get rid of the old stock that accumulates during the year, but we are
going to give you a chance of your life to buy goods. $ 10,000 worth of Clothing, Hats, Shoes, Dry Goods, Gents’ Furnishings, Suits, Milli
nery, etc., put on the market right at the season of the year when everybody has to buy goods. Put your wants off and let your dollar do
double duty during this sale. We are strictly one price to all. Your dollar is as good as your neighbor’s. The first man, woman or child
.hat trades $10.00 worth with us the first morning of the sale gets absolutely free of charge a pair of $2.50 shoes.

Vat With m Bottle.
Tuesday morning as Mr. O. S. Ken
drick was cleaning some bottles at bis
store on Limestone street, one accident
ally broke in his hands and cut his right
arm severely in two or three places,
making it necessary for eight or ten
stitches to be taken to sew up the cuts.
Fortunately, he had on his coat at the
time, and the heavy sleeve prevented a
more serious wound.
Mr. Kendrick at once sought a physi
cian and had his wounds dressed, and
up to now he says he has not suffered
much inconvenience from the accident,
more than having to wear his arm in a
sling for awhile.
Attention Sportsmen.
It will be unlawful to shoot quail be
fore the first of November. We know it
is a great temptation to shoot before that
time, but sportsmen must keep their fin

warning and keep out of trouble.
