Presentment of Grand Jury.
To His Honor, Judge Earnest Gary:
We. the Grand Jury, respectfully

a nice piece of work and correct.

county, and herewith attach his re

tion at the fine condition he finds the
offices to he in.
We respectfully suggest that a
new stove with water attachments
he placed in the county jail. Also
that we deem it highly important
that a telephone he placed in the
jail, and that the water pipes
be extended to the stables.

Expert Accountant's Report.
Gaffney, S. C., May 30, 1904.
Mr. J. E. Watkins. Esq.,
Foreman of Grand Jury.
Pursuant to your instructions, I
have made an examination of the ac
counts and records of the various
county offices. I find all records and
accounts neatly and intelligently
kept. I examined the records of the
bonds for the various officers and
find them properly filed and recorded.
Most of these bonds are made in
guarantee companies that I assume
to be all right.
In the limited time allowed me I,
of course, could not check in detail
all the records and accounts, but
found everything correct and well
kept, so far as my investigation ex
tended.
Respectfully submitted,
J. C. Hollis.
