The collision on the Southern last Monday evening is convincing evi dence that the company should double track its line between Gaffney and Blacksburg. ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ The man who insinuates that this newspaper has brought to bear any bo seen at every performance, assis ted by Marsh Craig, the wonderful contortionist Cook and Jones, great est of buck and wing dancers; Kid Langford, eccentric comedian and the Alabama Quartette and the Four Housely Brothers, the finest musical act row before the public. Vlnltto Boiling Spring* Mr Editor:—If you will give me a small space in your good paper I would like to give you an account of my visit to Boiling Spring*, N. C. I went up there Saturday and spent the night with Mr. Geo, Byars. He has a lovely wife and a sweet little girl. He also has the finest farm I ever saw I saw the most corn and fodder there I have seen in a long time in one place. I think Boiling Springs is the gar den spot of North Carolina.They have four stores there and do a good busi ness They also have a telephone system and a fine marble >ard there. Baker has been an nounced a candidate for mayor and it is expected that Mayor Little will stand for reelection, and others may come out.
