AN ORDINANCE
To Raise Supplies for the Fiscal Year
1904-1905.
The police of the town of Gaffney
are hereby authorized and em
powered to seize and confine
every dog running at large and
not having on the town badge
for current year, and for every
dog so taken up by the police

Any person or persons carrying on
business or occupation or running any
establishment or business named in this

taken out a license therefor, as herein

said labor, shall be, upon conviction
thereof, fined in a sum not greater than

vided this section shall not be held to

Section 5. The town council hereby
reserves to itself the right to revoke any

00 sonal property provided for in this ordi
nance shall be paid on or before the first
00 Tuesday in March, 1904, and any person
00 liable for the same who shall fail to pay
the same on or before the said date shall
00 be liable to a penalty of 20 per cent, of
00 such tax, and the tax and the penalty
50 w ith cost shall be collected by execution
00 or otherwise.
Any person, firm or officer of a»v oc
cupation making any false or fraudulent i
returns where a return under oath is by i
