Everything seems to he prosperous
in this section. All of our manu
facturing establishments seem to he
working on time. A large number
of mechanics are Hocking to Itich-
mond from other parts of the country,
all of whom seem to be getting busi
ness. Two large hotels are now
I being built The .KIT r-on is fast
being rebuilt, and it is said that it
will be handsomer and larger than
' the one recently destroyed by fire.
I Mrs Atkinson is also having a very
large and commodious Hotel construct
ed, both of which are in the west
end of Richmond. This part of the
city is being much improved.
There is a party consisting of a

children, who ure camping in an old
building near the IVter.-burg depot in
