with Dr. W. F. Humphries; Miss
Janie Byers, sister of the groom, with
Mr. F. G. Stacy; matron .of honor,
Mrs. Virgie C. Copeland, sister of the
bride.
The bride came in leaning on the
arm of her father. The bridegroom,
accompanied by his best man, Mr.
Harry Belle, of Gainesville, |met her
at the chancel which was beautifully
decorated with palms and ferns,
where the Rev. J. A. Wynne, of
Gainesville, performed the ceremony,
the most beautiful and impressive we
have ever seen.
The following were the costumes
worn by the bride and attendants:
Mrs. T. B. Butler, matron of
honor, wore white net over white
satin and carried pink roses.
Mrs. Virgie C. Copeland, matron
of honor, wore white embroidered
crene de chine over white taffeta and
carried white roses.
The bridesmaids wore white chiffon
over white taffeta and carried pink
roses.
The bridal gown, simply fashioned,
was of white Dutchess satin with rose
point lace and chiffon trimmings,

The bride is a young lady of rare
accomplishments and will be greatly
missed, not only In that exclusive
set In which she moved, hut In her
church as well. Hhe was thoroughly
identified with the church work and
the beautiful edifice in which she
plighted her troth owes to no one
more than she Its exlatencs. Espec
ially was she prominent in the musi
cal department, her magnificent so
prano voiue having led the chqlr
since her return from Boston several
years ago.
The groom Is a native of Georgia
and a social favorite In Gainesville.
