Yes, August. Flower still has the
j largest sale of any medicine in the
I civilized world. Your mothers’ and
grandmothers’ never thought of using
! anything else for indigestion or Bil-
i iousness. Doctors were scarce, and
■ they seldom heard of Appendicitis,
Nervous Prostration, Heart Failure,
etc. They used August Flower .to
clean out the system and stop fer
mentation of undigested food, regu
late the action of the liver, stimulate
the nervous and organic action of the
system, and that is all they took
when feeling dull and bad with
headaches and other aches. You
only need a few doses of Green’s
August Flower, in liquid form, to
make you satisfied there is nothing
serious the matter with you. For

The following is taken from the
Columbia State of July 4th. and was
filed with the clerk of the Supreme
Court Wednesday:
“Polly Lavendar vs. 0. J. Daniel
and \V. E. Hannon; Polly Lavendar
vs. D. R. Lavendar and W. J. Daniel;
and Polly Lavendar vs. W. T. Hum
phries. Opinion by Henry Mclver,
C. J. “The jndgmentof the circuit
court is reversed and the judgment o'
the probate court for Cherokee county
bo affirmed, to which last named
court these cases are remanded for
the purpose of having final decrees in
each of the three cases entered, dis
missing the petitions in each of said
cases.”
The above case was brought before
Probate Judge J. E. Webster at this
place and a decision rendered in favor
of defendants. Judge Buchanan, of
the circuit court, reversed the finding
of the probate judge’s court, and now
the State Supreme Court sustains
Judge Webster in his first decision,
as stated above, and dismissed the
plaintiH’s petition for dower in the
three cases.
Sores and Ulcers
DRAIN THi
SYSTEM,
ENDANGER
LIFE.
That old sore or ulcer, which has been a source of pain, worry and anxiety to you for
five or ten years — maybe longer — doesn’t heal because you are not using the proper treat
ment, but are trying to cure it with salves and washes. While these are soothing afnl relieve
pain to some extent, no real, permanent good can come from their use, because the disease
is in the blood and far beyond the reach of external applications.
A sore heals promptly when the blood is in good condition, but nBVGP if it is diseased. The
tendency of these old sores and ulcers is to grow worse, spreading and eating deeper into the flesh.
They are a constant drain upon the system, gradually but surely ruin the health and sap the very life.
A person’s capacity for work or pleasure is soon lost in the great desire and search for something to cure.
S. S. S. makes a rapid ana permanent cure of old sores and ulcers, and is the only medicine that
does, because no other can reach deep-seated blood troubles. Ordinary Sarsaparilla and i>otash mixtures
are too weak and watery to overcome a deadly poison that has taken jKissession of the blood. Do not
waste valuable time experimenting with them.

S. S. S. is the only purely vegetable blood purifier known ;
is made of roots and herbs of wonderful purifying properties,
which no poison can resist. S. S. S. quickly and effectually
clears the blood of all morbid, unhealthy humors, and the old, tiouhlesome sore heals.
At the same time the general health is invigorated and built tip. When a little scratch

put it in order and keep it so.
