Urquhart and J. F. Whisonant have
commenced to quarry at Simm’s
lime kiln and are working several
hands.
N. W. Cameron, superintendent of
our graded school,. left Tuesday
morning for his home in Maryland.
Miss Florence Bell, of Williams
burg county, is visiting Miss Lila
Black, of this place.
Miss Nell Coe has gone on an ex
tended visit to Asheville, her old
home.
Misses Edna Healan and Willie
Hardin have gone to Charlotte on a
visit.
Miss Iva Whisonant returned home
today after spending two or three
days in Charlotte.

Carolina of a Revolutionary soldier,
will be an honored guest at the cele
bration at I he Cowpens Battleground
to-morrow.
Mrs. Kimbrel is far advanced in age
and quite feible, but the Memorial
Association bus made every arrange
ment for her comfort to and from the
Rut tlcground and while there. She
